Responsibilities
providing lessons 1:1 with a student (ages range from 5-15yo) at our studio in Hillarys (guitarists: we are also planning on offering group guitar classes soon)
marking attendance and sending homework via our online portal
helping organise and attend our concerts and events
running group classes about once a month
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Grade 8 minimum on the relevant instrument
Be a recent graduate OR currently studying music at a tertiary institution
2-3 years of experience tutoring
Employment type, hours and rates
This role is casual.
For piano: current hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4.15-6.00pm. Possibility of more hours on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays.
For guitar: unable to provide specific hours but we will get you started with one day a week, 3.00-.6.00pm then add more days depending on your availability.
Rates are variable depending on your experience and qualifications. We pay super and also pay you for trainings.
