Experience the Magic of Live Music – Tutor Concert & Instrument Petting Zoo
At Music Makers Academy, we believe music is meant to be shared — and we’re thrilled to invite you to our annual Tutor Concert and Instrument Petting Zoo on Sunday 31 August, 2.00–3.15pm at Padbury Hall.
Whether your child is brand new to music or already deep into their musical journey, this is an event designed to inspire, energies, and connect.
What to Expect
Live performances by our talented tutors — hear the instruments your children are learning come to life on stage.
Discover new instruments — students will have the chance to explore harp, guitar, piano, flute, and more in our interactive Instrument Petting Zoo.
Ask questions and connect — get to know the musicians who teach at MMA and learn more about what inspires them.
Family-friendly and fun — bring siblings, grandparents, and friends! Everyone is welcome.
Why We Created This Event
Music practice at home can sometimes feel like a chore, especially during the busier parts of the school year. But when students witness their tutors perform — with passion, confidence, and creativity — something clicks.
We’ve seen it time and again: a student walks out of the Tutor Concert wide-eyed, buzzing with ideas and suddenly excited to get back to their own practice. This event isn’t just about watching — it’s about remembering why we make music in the first place.
Meet the Performers
We’re proud to present an incredible lineup of performers, all of whom are part of the Music Makers Academy teaching team:
Eliza Bourgault – Harp
Founder of MMA, Eliza brings warmth, storytelling, and beautiful harp music to the stage.
Nathaniel – Guitar
A student favourite, Nathaniel blends modern and classical guitar for a fun, toe-tapping experience.
Charlie – Piano & Violin
A classically trained musician with a gentle presence and expressive style.
Jensen – Flute
A vibrant and engaging flautist who makes classical flute approachable and exciting for young learners.
Flavio Colonetti – Jazz Piano
A WAAPA Honours student with a scholarship for excellence and a natural stage charisma.
Trevor Davy – Voice
A veteran performer with a career spanning five decades, Trevor brings soul, depth, and power to every note.
Each performance is designed to inspire and delight — showcasing different styles, instruments, and pathways in music.
