Introducing group guitar lessons!
After months of thinking about it and prepping for it, we are finally introducing group guitar lessons in term 4, 2024 - and yes, before you ask, we still have a few spots left, so make sure to give us a call or fill out a form on our website to register!
But first, you might be wondering what are the benefits of group lessons? After all, aren’t private lessons supposed to be “better”? Well, it depends what you’re looking for, how your child learns and what your budget is. The advantages of group lessons include:
learning in a group is fun and interactive
students might feel a sense of competitiveness which means they will lift their game and learn quickly
students develop ensemble skills from having to play together - that means that they learn very important musical skills such as playing in time and counting
musical games are much more fun because there are more people to play it with!
When students enrol for our group guitar classes, they also receive their own workbook to take home each week. The workbooks are full of short and quirky pieces. Each piece has been arranged in different levels of difficulty so that students who want a harder challenge can learn the harder version. Therefore, our classes suit various styles and levels of learners and guitarists.
The cost for the 8-week program is $210 paid upfront by week 1. Also included in this fee is the semester 2 concert, our end of year photoshoot and a completion certificate. Lessons will be on Tuesdays, 4pm (for 4-8yo) and 4.45pm (for 9-14yo).
