Student’s piano arrangement published online

We couldn’t be more excited to see that our piano student Oscar has his first piano arrangement published online on Music Notes.

Oscar arranged The Mandalorian for piano completely by himself. It’s a pretty epic arrangement which uses pretty much all of the piano’s register, and makes use of repetitive left hand patterns to create an ominous feel and atmosphere. But why don’t you listen to it yourself?

We recorded Oscar’s playing at our studio back in January, helped him write out the score on a notation software called Muse Score, and finally set up his Music Notes account and showed him how to upload a score for other people to purchase.

The arrangement mostly comprises of open octaves in both hands so is not too technically challenging, however the coordination between the hands, due to the syncopations and many ties, might prove tricky for some!

Purchase the score and try it out: https://www.musicnotes.com/marketplace/sheetmusic/MK0033005

Well done Oscar, we can’t wait to see and hear what you do next!
