May News & Updates – A Month of Music & Performance

As we move into May, our students are now well into Term 2, bringing fresh energy and focus into their lessons. Following a strong finish to Term 1 in early April, it’s been wonderful to see everyone returning with continued enthusiasm and commitment to their musical growth.

April was also a special time as we celebrated International Guitar Month, highlighting the joy and creativity that music brings to our community.

Looking Ahead

The coming months are filled with exciting opportunities for students to perform, grow, and celebrate their progress.

Concert Week (June 1–7)
Our annual concert is fast approaching, with the performance likely to take place on June 7 (pending venue confirmation). This is a key milestone for students to showcase their hard work and development.

World Music Day (June 21)
A global celebration of music that reminds us of the power music has to connect people across cultures and communities.

End of Term 2 (July 5)
An important date as we continue working towards another successful and rewarding term.

Student Spotlight Opportunity – Wanneroo Markets Busking

Students will have the opportunity to perform at the Wanneroo Markets on Sunday, May 3, in a relaxed and supportive public setting.

This free busking experience allows students to:

  • Build confidence performing in front of a live audience

  • Gain real-world performance experience

  • Enjoy music in a more informal environment outside of concerts

Students who have already registered will receive further details shortly.

For those who would still like to participate, please get in touch to express your interest.

As always, we’re proud to support each student’s musical journey and look forward to an inspiring month ahead. 🎶
