After only a few years of lessons, Lachlan has already completed third grade and is a confident performer on classical guitar! He shares with us about his guitar journey.
What kind of music (songs or exercises) do you enjoy playing on the guitar and why?
I love playing allegro style classical songs.
What made you start learning the guitar and what do you enjoy about playing it?
I got the opportunity to start guitar at school before coming for private lessons with Darryn.
What do you find are the easiest and hardest things about learning guitar?
Definitely the easiest is learning how to do rest stroke and the hardest is choosing witch songs I want to learn next!
What is your favourite thing about guitar lessons?
Getting to learn cool new songs.
What are some goals or pieces that you are currently working on?
Enter the Sandman by Metallica.
What is your proudest moment or achievement as a guitarist?
Last year, I skipped grade 2 and passed my grade 3 AMEB exam.
