Piano lessons Hillarys

It’s time to make music!

Does your child want to play the piano?

We have the perfect program for them! Wanna know why?

With our monthly program you get the best of both worlds: private lessons so that your child receives instruction tailored to their needs and tastes; and group activities for your child to make friends, learn new skills and get creative!

But that’s not all …

Our teachers are some of the friendliest, warmest and most patient people you will ever meet, who have a real knack at building rapport with kids.

We teach students contemporary and fun repertoire that gets them hooked right away because they recognize the songs they play.

We use a lot of games during our lessons so that learning feels like play!

Our piano teachers

  • Eliza Bourgault

Eliza started the piano at 4 yo, and although she didn't like it at first, now she couldn't imagine her life without a piano! Eliza attended Churchlands Senior High School where she was in the music program on a scholarship. She then studied music at UWA. Eliza worked as a freelance piano accompanist and pianist before turning to teaching piano full-time.

  • Edlyn Neoh

Born and raised in a musical environment, Edlyn developed a deep love for piano from an early age. She completed her Diploma in Music Performance from the London College of Music and Grade 8 in ABRSM after which she started her teaching journey. Her goal as a teacher is creating a positive and inspiring learning environment where all students can explore their musical potential while developing a lifelong love for playing piano. Edlyn believes that piano keys can unlock a world of expression.

 FAQs

  • A key component of progress for a very young child (under 8 years old) is parental involvement (checking that practice is being made, homework completed, and helping the child with learning notes if required).

A good age to start learning would be around 8 years old, when the child has developed some maturity, is able to focus during a lesson and can take responsibility for their own learning.

  • The payment method will depend on the package you select.

Monthly payment plans are to be paid by automatic direct debit. For the semester and annual payment, these are to be paid upfront.

  • Yes, we have a lot of experience preparing students for exams. We are familiar with AMEB syllabuses.

  • Yes we recommend you get your own instrument before starting lessons as you will need to practice in between each lesson. You will not be required to bring your instrument to your lessons (except for guitar).

We appreciate that buying an instrument is a massive investment and hiring can be a good option to begin with.

We can help you with choosing an instrument.
